inTOTUM® was engaged by Chase Properties to manage the retanking of the BP Tingalpa service station following long-standing issues with the existing fuel tanks. The project involved the removal of all existing tanks and pipework and the installation of new secondary-contained fibreglass tanks and pipework to meet current operational and regulatory requirements.
inTOTUM®’s role encompassed full design management, coordination of the tender process, assessment and selection of the fuel system installer, and oversight of the installation works, including all required notifications to relevant regulatory authorities. By working closely with the client, the service station operator, and the fuel installer, inTOTUM ensured a compliant, practical, and durable outcome for the site.
